David was brought into this world by complete chance - his mother became pregnant with him at the age of sixteen during a relationship with an older man. When news of his mother's pregnancy reached the older man, he left Sydney without a word. Luckily, his mother was a part of a well-to-do family, and at a young age, David can not remember lacking any neccessities.
However, the problem was when he was a child, David was frequently bullied. Maybe the bullying happened because David was the kind of kid people are naturally drawn to annoy - to this day, he isn't exactly sure. Whatever the case, the experiences scarred David heavily, to the point where he eventually began to shun contact with children.
His powers surfaced by complete accident. Backed into a corner by one of his tormentors, David panicked, but could not find the courage to run away. Before David realized it, the bully fell limp and dropped to the ground, unconscious.
It wasn't later until David found out he had placed the boy into a coma.
When David told his mother, she pleaded with him to never speak of his powers again, in fear of what people might say. And he complied with her wishes. For the next nine years, David got by through life as well as he could, and his powers only resurfaced on a handful of occassions.

As David grew older, the shell that surrounded David began to crack. The apathy and paranoia that ruled him as a child has begun to slowly ebb away, though portions of it still remain.
Despite this, David is a shy, gentle boy of sixteen. He cries very easily - in a moment of despair, he'll cry, and in a moment of joy, he'll cry. This has earned him the reputation of a crybaby, a reputation that he is not fond of at all. He has a difficult time connecting with males due to the bullying he experienced and his lack of a real father figure.
He also has a passion for playing the piano.
